The box with the red dot in it IL 3 yes?

So therefore the following text could be read as:

"The character has six injury levels (ILs), including injury level 0"

Or 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 (with IL 6 not shown on the above graphic?

And

"When a character or creature has an IL of 5 (meaning the 6th box has taken at least a point of damage), but is not dead, he enters shock or unconsciousness.?

And

"Death occurs when a character?s IL 5 is full (or, when box 6 is full), and one or more LP of damage is sustained (or, when box 6 is full, and then the character takes another hit effectively sticking him in IL 6, or box 7, not shown on the graphic?)"


And

?Characters injured within the sixth injury level (again, this would be box 7 not in the graphic) are mortally wounded??


Is that it?

Hi Warden,

The six boxes are 0,1,2,3,4,5.

Injury Level 6, which would be the 7th box is a placeholder describing death, but not beyond the bounds of resuscitation...

Hi Warden -

Yep, your post is spot on.

When we added IL 0 aeons ago, it made it a little complex to talk about the boxes vs. the ILs, but we thought the ability for characters to take some damage without losing functionality right off the bat was worth the mind juggling.
